Dexiosis

Dexiosis, derived from the Ancient Greek word "dexios" meaning "right hand," is the handshake gesture seen in ancient Greek art and social life from the 5th century BC onward. It was frequently depicted on funerary steles to symbolize a farewell between mortals or a bond formed with the gods, and is considered one of the oldest cultural traces of the modern handshake tradition.
