Forgetting Curve

The forgetting curve is a graph showing how quickly newly learned information becomes hard to recall when it is not reviewed. It is based on Hermann Ebbinghaus’s 1885 experiments and shows that the steepest loss happens right after learning. Well-timed reviews flatten the curve and move knowledge into long-term memory.
