Geoglyph

A geoglyph is a large design or figure made on the ground, usually visible in full only from above. It is created either by removing dark stones or soil to expose a lighter layer beneath (the negative technique) or by arranging and piling up stones (the positive technique). Peru’s Nazca Lines are the world’s best-known group of geoglyphs.
