Maillot Jaune

Maillot Jaune is French for "yellow jersey," the distinctive jersey worn by the current leader of the general classification in the Tour de France cycling race. It was first introduced in 1919, inspired by the yellow page color of the race's founding newspaper, L'Auto. Today it is regarded as one of the most iconic symbols in all of cycling.
