Misbaha

A misbaha (also called tasbih or subha) is a string of beads used to keep count of repeated prayers, litanies or the names of God. In Islam it usually has 99 or 33 beads, used to recite the 99 names of God or the litanies said after ritual prayer. Similar tools exist as the mala in Hinduism and Buddhism and the rosary in Catholicism.
