MRNA Vaccine

mRNA (messenger RNA) is a single-stranded RNA molecule that carries genetic information encoded in the DNA of the cell nucleus to the ribosomes, where proteins are made. mRNA vaccines instruct the body's own cells to temporarily produce a specific protein (for example, a virus's surface protein), thereby training the immune system to recognize it.
