Sabbath
The Sabbath is the weekly Jewish day of rest and worship, running from shortly before sunset on Friday until nightfall on Saturday — about twenty-five hours in total. Rooted in the Torah's creation narrative and counted among the Ten Commandments, it prohibits thirty-nine categories of creative work.
